How we use donations

Here at OCSR every donation counts, The various items that can help improve the lives of the children include food items, farm inputs and toiletries. When you donate to OCSR, the funds are used to pay volunteer support, payable on a monthly basis. Currently The children at OCSR are given educational support where OCSR pays school fees for secondary school and tertiary education students, paid directly to the school for each child in public schools.

OCSR is working towards self sustainability. One way to achieve this is by growing maize, beans, vegetables and other food items. The funds donated are used to buy farm inputs, including fertilizer, and seeds as well as pay for farm labour Maize, Rice, Beans, meat, fish, vegetables, soya pieces, toiletries and sanitary products, condiments (including salt, sugar and cooking oil),

OCSR has ensures integrity and accuracy of its financial dealings. . OCSR shall publish a financial report annually, detailing its income and expenses for the financial year which begins April 1st 2024 and March 31st 2025. At the end of every financial year OCSR shall involve independent auditors to review its financial statements. and utilities.
