My name is pachalo , I was born on 28th November 1993 in a family of 12 children I am the fifth Born. My Father was a polygamist. He had divorced two wives before marrying my mum, life was not easy living in the village in a big family, when I was five I lived with my sister, the first born of the family, she took me so that she can ease the burden on my parents, that is where I did my STD 1-4 in std 5 I went back to my parents but life was still tough some days I was not going to school because I didn’t have books and other learning materials so I would follow my mum at the market where she used to sell tomatoes this is where I met with Mrs. Mphande the founder of Orphan Care and social rehabilitation , she asked me why I was not in school when all my friends where at school, this is when I told her that because of books and other learning materials I wasn’t at school, that day she gave me money to go buy books and other things and I started going to school every time when she going to Karonga she would stop to check on me and know what I was doing when I was in std 8 she asked if I can follow her to Lilongwe to leave with her but I refused because I didn’t know her very well and I was afraid that I will be used for money ritual , but she never stopped supporting me even when I moved to go and leave with my brother from another mother in Mzuzu. After staying with my brother for about a year and half he told me that he was tired leaving with me so I was sent back to my parents in the village, I was worried because because in the village the school was very far lucky enough Mrs. Mphande came again and told me she wanted to take me to town and this time I didn’t refuse because I knew it was my chance to continue school while in the city I was convinced that Mrs. Mphande was very nice person with a good family I passed all the exams with the help of Mrs. Mphande and her OCSR . In 2013 I finished my secondary School, I went to college where I did fashion arts and beauty before my graduation she passed on (MHSRIEP) I graduated in 2019 and started my own business.
